Learn Tai Chi this Summer!

"Introduction to Tai Chi and Qigong" is a beginner-level class for those who have little or no experience, but are interested to find out more about Tai Chi. The focus will be on the fundamentals of body mechanics and balance control. There will be some discussion of the history of Tai Chi, the different schools of practice, and the health benefits.  This class will prepare participants to take regular Tai Chi Classes at the Fitness Center beginning in the Fall.  All classes include Qigong exercises.
 
The summer schedule is as follows: Thursdays, 10:30 - 11:30am at the Amenity Center, located at 625 Palencia Club Dr, beginning May 4th and running four weeks (May 4, 11, 18, 25.) This schedule will be repeated beginning June 8th and running four weeks (June 8, 15, 22, 29.)
 
This is a free class welcome to all Palencia residents.
